The test determines the genotype and parentage relations through comparison with the parents'genotypes. For the selected pigeon, send Blood in EDTA tube or 5 feathers plucked with quills. For the parents, send certificates from other laboratory (minimum 12 ISAG markers) or biological samples (blood or feathers). If parents were already tested by our laboratory there is no need to send samples.

By genotyping, the  laboratory determines the genetic fingerprint of each animal, with the molecular markers recommended by the ISAG (International Society for Animal Genetics). Genotype is performed with Blood in EDTA tube or 5 feathers plucked with undamaged quills. Results in 7-10 working days
